This song is about hope. It's about overcoming life's obstacles and difficulties. Whether you are a man or a woman, there comes a day, where tough decisions have to be made and there are no longer any excuses. This is a song about making those choices and standing by them. That's the moment when you say, I'm no longer a boy,“ I am a man. I am no longer a child, I am an adult.

At the end of March, in the middle of the recording process, I gave a small concert for my fans in Vienna and sang „I Am A Man“ at that event.

When you're in the studio recording, there are 1,000 technical issues that have to be dealt with. However, live on stage, there's only you, the lyrics and the melody. Only when I was singing the song live, did I realize, that „I Am A Man“ is pretty much my personality distilled down to a 3 minute pop song.
